Internships
|
Students from institutions such as the Barbados Youth Service and the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology participate in internships at the EPD to gain work experience. These internships are arranged through the institutions. |
| The Environmental Project Department during the summer i.e. June to September undertakes a summer internship programme. Interns work with the various sections of the Department to gain knowledge about the environmental issues affecting Barbados and how the EPD is managing those issues. |
| In order to participate persons can send in a cover letter and a resume addressed to the Director. If suitably qualified, you will be contacted to be interviewed for the position. |
Volunteers and Visits

Interested persons may contact the Department to may arrangements to volunteer or to observe the work of the Department. The request should be made to the Director either by post or by email. The relevant contact information such as telephone number should be included in the request. |
